Stony Creek Swim Center has set the standard for swim instruction in central Indiana since 1989. Our lessons are taught by caring, mature instructors who have your child’s best interests at heart. Children learn best when they feel safe and loved. Each student has a unique personality as well as individual needs that must be considered.
Our instructors make sure that each child learns at their own pace, in a positive and rewarding manner.The success of our year round program is directly related to the dedication of our clients to ensure the safety and well-being of their children. Because they realize that learning to swim is not only fun… It’s a necessity!
Notes from the Lily Pad:
- Price Increase: As of January 1st, the monthly cost of swimming lessons will increase from $64/month per child to $65/month per child.
- Make-Up Lessons: We no longer offer make-ups within regular classes. Make-ups will now be offered twice each month: one Friday evening from 4:00pm - 6:30pm and one Saturday from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed. Absences must be reported prior to the missed lesson in order to qualify for a make-up. The following dates are make-ups available in January & February, call our office to schedule:
- Saturday, January 28th 11:00am - 2:00pm
- Friday, February 17th 4:00pm - 6:30pm
- Attendance: Our new software system gives us the ability to assign each student a barcode number and attendance card. During the week of January 9-14, we will assign each student an individual attendance card. Please stop at the office window to pick up your card and to fill out our new 2012 Registration Contract. A barcode scanner will be located at the office window when you first walk into the facility. When you arrive for your lesson, simply scan your child's card and check the computer monitor for any new information you might need to know.
- Jackrabbit - Our New Software System: In March, we will launch our online customer portal where parents will be able to register their children in lessons, update important information and track their child's progress as weekly skill accomplishments are posted by the instructor. More information on this will be available in the next few weeks!
- Extended Lesson Schedule: Beginning on Monday, March 5th, we are expanding our schedule to open more available class times. Weekday evenings will now offer classes held until 8:00pm. and Saturday morning lessons will run until 2:00pm. Due to the overwhelming requests, we will also be offering lessons on Friday mornings from 10:00am - 1:00pm and Friday evenings from 4:00pm - 6:30pm.
Helping Our Swim Families
We take every opportunity we can to participate and give back to our community. So when one of our swim moms told us she was going to shave her head to help raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds childhood cancer research, we had to pitch-in and help her!
