Stony Creek Swim Center has set the standard for swim instruction in central Indiana since 1989. Our lessons are taught by caring, mature instructors who have your child’s best interests at heart. Children learn best when they feel safe and loved. Each student has a unique personality as well as individual needs that must be considered. Our instructors make sure that each child learns at their own pace, in a positive and rewarding manner.
The success of our year round program is directly related to the dedication of our clients to ensure the safety and well-being of their children. Because they realize that learning to swim is not only fun… It’s a necessity!
Notes from the Lily Pad:
- *NEW* Friday Classes: Starting on March 2nd, we will be offering classes on Fridays from 10:00am-1:00pm and 4:00-6:30pm. We are now enrolling for these classes, so call NOW to register your child!!
- *NEW* Classes starting in March: The week of March 5th, we have new weekday classes starting! If you have been wanting to register and could not find an available time, give us a call!!
- Make-up Classes:
Make-up times are offered twice each month, a
Friday evening from 4:00-6:30 and a Saturday from 12:00-3:00. Make-up
classes are not guaranteed and classes should only be missed if
absolutely necessary. Absences must be reported prior to the missed
class in order to qualify for a make-up. February make-ups will be:
- Saturday, February 25th from 12:00-3:00pm
- Friday, March 23rd from 4:00-6:30m
- Saturday, March 24th from 12:00-3:00pm
- Online Customer Portal: In March we will launch the online customer portal, where you will be able to register your swimmer, update important information, and follow your child's progress as their instructors post weekly skill accomplishments. There will be more information on this in the next few weeks.
- Student Evaluations: Once the online portal is active, parents will be able to view and monitor their student's skill achievements online. We will no longer be doing monthly evaluations, since instructors will be able to continuously evaluate and enter student's skills into their online account. When a student is ready to move to the next level, the instructor will notify the office and then we will contact the parents to find an available time.
